Keep your landscape healthy with custom sprinkler systems designed for your yard
Why Choose Professional Sprinkler Installation?
A professionally designed and installed sprinkler system ensures your landscape receives optimal water coverage while conserving water and reducing your utility bills. Our irrigation specialists create custom zone designs tailored to your property's specific needs, considering factors like sun exposure, soil type, and plant requirements. With smart controllers and efficient components, you'll enjoy a healthier landscape with less effort.

What a proper system includes
We are Adam and Ben, brothers running our own crew out of South Surrey. An irrigation system is a small piece of plumbing buried in your yard, and the difference between one that runs for twenty years and one that gives you trouble every spring is in the parts you never see.
Mainline. Pressurised pipe from the point of connection out to the valves, buried below the depth a garden fork or an edging spade will ever reach, with a shut-off and a drain point so the system can be emptied before winter.
Zones and valves. A yard cannot be watered all at once, and it should not be watered all the same. We split the property into zones by what the plants need and how much sun they get, so the shaded side bed is not drowned while the open front lawn is still dry. Each zone runs from an electric valve grouped in an accessible valve box, not buried loose in a bed where nobody can find it.
Heads and drip. Rotors for open lawn, spray heads for smaller or shaped areas, laid out so the throw of each head reaches the next one, because gaps show up as brown patches in August. Beds, hedges and planters get drip line instead, which puts water at the root and loses far less to evaporation and wind.
Backflow prevention. Where it is required, a backflow preventer keeps irrigation water from being drawn back into the drinking supply. Municipalities in the Lower Mainland take this seriously, so we install the right device for the connection and confirm the local requirement before we start.
Smart controller. A weather-aware controller adjusts run times to the season and skips a cycle when it has rained, which in this climate matters. You get an app, we set the initial programme, and we show you how to change it. The installation is covered by our 1-year workmanship warranty.
Installing irrigation before sod or turf
If a yard is being renovated, this is the single easiest money to save. While the ground is already open and the machine is already on site, running mainline and laying sleeves under any future patio, walkway or driveway costs a fraction of what it costs later. Stub-outs left capped at the edge of future beds mean a zone can be added in an afternoon rather than by trenching across a finished lawn. Sleeves under hardscape are the important one, because once pavers are down, getting a pipe from one side to the other means lifting them. Even if irrigation is not in this year's budget, we will put the sleeves in while we are there.
Water restrictions in Metro Vancouver
Lawn watering across Metro Vancouver is governed by seasonal restrictions that set which days and hours sprinklers may run, and the rules tighten by stage when conditions get dry. A properly zoned automatic system makes compliance straightforward: we programme the controller to the current stage rules for your property, use early-morning start times, and set up the zones so we can adjust or shut down lawn watering while drip irrigation to trees and beds carries on where that is allowed. If the stage changes mid-season, the controller can be reprogrammed in a couple of minutes, and we will walk you through it. Restrictions change from year to year, so we confirm the current rules with your municipality rather than working from memory.
What it costs
Irrigation is priced by zone. In Greater Vancouver a typical residential zone runs $900 to $1,600 installed, covering the trenching, pipe, valve, heads and wiring for that area. A small city lot might need three or four zones; a larger property with front and back lawns plus beds is more often six to ten.
On that basis a straightforward four-zone system usually lands around $4,000 to $6,500, and a larger eight-zone system around $8,000 to $13,000. The controller, the backflow device and any permit or connection work are itemized separately, and drip zones for beds generally cost less per zone than lawn rotors. Hard digging, tree roots and poor access add labour. Your itemized written quote comes back within 24 hours of the free on-site estimate.
Seasonal service
In spring we start the system up: open the valves slowly to avoid a pressure surge, run every zone, check each head for coverage and alignment, clean or replace clogged nozzles, look for leaks along the lines, and reprogramme the controller for the season and the current watering restrictions. In autumn we shut it down and blow it out with compressed air, zone by zone, so no water is left sitting in the lines to freeze and split a fitting over winter. Skipping the blow-out is the most common reason a system that worked fine in September comes back leaking in April.
