Northwood Landscaping Ltd. (South Surrey, British Columbia) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and in the course of our landscaping work, how we use it, and the choices you have. It follows the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act.
What we collect
When you request an estimate we collect your name, email address, phone number and, if you provide them, the project address or city, the type of work, your timeline and budget range, and your project description.
When you call, email or text us we keep the details of that conversation so we can respond.
The website uses Google Analytics 4 and the Google Ads tag, which set cookies and record anonymised usage such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location; they do not identify you by name.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, book a site visit, prepare a written quote and carry out the work; and to understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
Email and messages
We do not send marketing email or newsletters. Messages from us are replies to your enquiry, quotes, scheduling and invoices for work you asked for.
Where your information is stored
The website, its form handling and email delivery are hosted by Lovable, Supabase and Resend. Data may be stored and processed on servers outside Canada, including the United States, and is subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We use reasonable safeguards including encrypted connections and access limited to the people who need it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business (hosting, email delivery, analytics, accounting) and only as needed. With your permission we may share project details with your builder, designer or strata manager to coordinate the work.
How long we keep it
Estimate requests and client records are kept as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting obligations, then deleted or anonymised.
Your choices and rights
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent, subject to legal and contractual limits; contact us and we will respond within 30 days. You can decline analytics cookies in your browser settings. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
